Social Impact Design Project: ‘Keep on Moving’

‘Keep on Moving’ – Do Good Design + Prospectus

“Keep on Moving” is a design project created using Adobe software (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) as part of my graphic design subject, VCD203 ‘Social Impact Design’. The body of work showcased in this portfolio combines thoughtful design with practical solutions, addressing the barriers older adults face in staying active and empowering them to maintain mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Project Overview
The Keep on Moving design project is made up of two key tasks completed as part of VCD203:

  1. Task 2: Do Good Design Project
This task involved inventing and prototyping a visual communication design that addressed a significant social issue. I developed the Keep on Moving concept to tackle barriers to physical activity among older adults. Using research insights, I created a functional prototype that included accessible exercise resources, such as an illustrated guide and supporting materials tailored to seniors.
  2. Task 3: Do Good Prospectus
The second task required designing a prospectus to present the purpose, vision, and potential impact of Keep on Moving. This document highlighted the project’s objectives, target audience, and innovative approach, supported by visuals and mock-ups. The prospectus serves as a professional presentation tool for potential collaborators or stakeholders.

These tasks combined research, design thinking, and technical skills to create a project that is both visually engaging and socially impactful.
