Audio of Peer Review Meeting:
This week, I participated in a peer review session with Charlotte Adams and Gabby Goldsmith, where we discussed the progress and challenges of our Digital Artefacts (DAs). Each of us is working within the social media realm but with different focuses, which made for a rich discussion on strategy and content creation.
Charlotte shared her pivot from TikTok to a broader content creation approach, now also including Instagram, where she manages social accounts for her workplace and a musical. Her focus on personified content sparked a discussion about analysing engagement across different platforms, with suggestions to compare performance metrics between TikTok and Instagram.
I then shared the recent shift in my DA, moving from managing Fernwood Fitness’ Instagram to focusing on my personal training account, @unmatched.fit. The feedback was valuable, with suggestions to gather user-generated content from current clients to enhance professionalism and build trust. This will allow me to apply strategies learned from managing a larger business account to my own brand.
Gabby’s project, focusing on fashion TikTok, explored how quick content creation methods like using CapCut templates can help streamline output. We encouraged her to continue experimenting with content efficiency and repurposing videos.
This peer review was incredibly insightful, reinforcing the importance of flexibility and iteration in DA development.
